6 months in chilled Delhi last year was the greatest experience in my life... Firstly I was happy coz I ws movin towards my dream in capital city of India 1000 km away from home and secondly coz I had opportunity to see u...
Sorry for the blabbring but the the 1st sight of the greatest monuments in India i.e. TAJ MAHAL has really taken my breath away... :)
After 2 months of saty in Delhi towards the year end mom dad and a small group came to delhi and some parts in north India for a small vacation. Thats when I joined them to Agra as it was saturday sunday and i had a class off. On a chilly mornin after a nice breakfast we left for mathura and thereafter to Agra.. the most waited destiny in my life.
After a heavy day we reached Agra somewhere in the evenin at 5.30... we were horrified to see a huge line for ticksts.. And we thought it was impossible to get in... My heart felt like cryin coz it thought ill miss it inspite of commin this close.
dad suddenly saw a seperate ladies line for ticket.. though Im a lil feminist i would not miss the chance... i hopped into the line to see none of the respected ladies followed the decency thats to be taken care of in line... I had to join then and i pulled and pushed the other females to take the numero uno position in the line..... i still remember the bad close contacts i ever had with any woman in whole life... here there were WOMEN :)
Finally after a half an hour long struggle I managed to get the tickets.. All my team members were proud of me probabaly i was among last 5 to buy tickets that day.... But none could see that i seriously wanted to take a bath right after that.... Here only the task no 1 was over... it was probably 6-6.15 and 6.30 was the closing time.... there was another line to be chased.. The line was divided into two.. one for males and other for females... the male line went smoothly as they took care of eachother so as every1 present there could move inside...
But here females...(God they fight everywhere) the whole queue was under a chaos.. For the 1st time in my life i thought men are more organised and brotherly (of course! in a good sense).
I was on fire that day... I took charge of the situation and went to the police and guided the ladies to get in till my group was inside.
Finally, the hurdle race was over between u and me..... and there it stood the perfect view of the perfect creation THE TAJ.....
I believe in love and Taj is the greatest greatest example of Love of an mughal empror and his lady.
It was magnificient sight at far and a dream come true at heart.. I walked across to touch, to feel the love that stands so true, so pious and so elegant even after 100's of years...
"Mumtaz must have really been beautiful and a lucky lady to be have loved by Shahajahan who flushed his love to created this fantabulous monument" i thought to myself....
I was all carried away in my thoughts when i saw another queue that led us inside the tomb... We thought we will not be able to go in and my face had fallen down... I sat there lookin at Taj when my dad noticed my emotions thro a unseen tear from eye.... My dad otherwise is man of principles but that day he was none other than my father as soon as he saw a clearin in line he jumped into it and called me.. this is how we went in...
The carvings the tomb moved me even more... it was dark and electricity is not permitted in there coz of blackning of white marble. . Still the marble had a cresent glow. We sat there till the policeman banged his stick and asked us to go away :) Emotions clouded my heart as I departed glancing every look at it...
That was a perfect evening I lived and took home a lightning flame of love for Taj in my heart...
