World has proudly reached 21st century with a huge progress in science and technology. Today, we speak to or even see people on the other side of the world in just a blink of the eyes. Transport and communication has bridged all the gaps of the distances and we have successfully made this place a glittering but a small place to live in. (I haven’t seen closest of my buddies in like years but thanks to all the technology that has kept us together even today).
Man with his power has conquered all other lower species and has reached the moon and other planets as well, but unfortunately hearts in him are so tough that he has not been able to conquer them to make him a place in each others heart.
Technology that stands by us from nib of pen till zip of pants has shown its powerful negative faces which make me think that ancient man was less progressive but more happy.
It is so ironical to see that today’s man is “FIGHTING” for “PEACE”. Man has created huge terms like rules, regulations, rule of law, plans, policies, parliament, constitution… more bigger terms like democracy, capitalism, secularism, socialism, republic for his better living. But these terms and those who have framed them have themselves taken away his freedom… his life.
Sitting here, in a small unknown corner of the world, when I see my home… my earth, I just see huge craters and cracks of continents, nations, states, religions, races, castes, classes created by Man to suppress his own progress.
I agree to the fact that some part of the world is more productive and economically advanced but it is only due to favorable climatic, demographic and natural conditions. But Why Man is making efforts to divide the divided world keeping this progress on the gun point.
Are natural calamities like floods, droughts, earthquakes not enough… are the burns of rapidly growing terrorism fire not enough… that Man is creating more and more unrest over some piece of land or language or some stupid entertainment or sports media…?????
Hey Man… why are u here? Who are u to create violence in my home and disturb my peace…? Are questions that often keep jumping in my mind which are unanswered till day…
I want peace… I want happiness… I want satisfaction… I want progress… should I fight for it….? Why people sitting on the topmost positions don’t understand what an ordinary man like me wants… Y are they so busy fighting among themselves at the cost of my money and authority.
It is really sarcastic to see myself fighting on every step of life. In this world it is difficult to express love on some “special day”, it is difficult to walk out in leisure to watch a “movie”, move in own country to earn “bread”, or fly away from home to die for no reason… (it’s a homage to all my Indian brothers and sisters who lost their life in Australia), and seeing the same brothers and sisters fighting to rip away their land into two pieces (Andhra and Telangana). And all this fighting for what…. Only to stay peacefully…. So… so… paradoxical is my life here.
When will we realize that we are here to witness the beauty of the world… and believe in “TOGETHER WE STAND” when we will realize that the one dying is also a man…. When…? When…?
Are we so blind folded in the lust of bright lights? Are we so deaf in sounds of materialism that we can’t see can’t hear the cry of pain of others? Have we become so cold in this heating earth (global warming) that we can’t lend our hands to help our own people in need?
Wake up… wake up… before it is too late... Stop fighting for peace… LIVE up for it to see the real wonderful creation of man and his world…
